In Fond Remembrance of Judith

The Northwest Side Irish Parade was founded in loving memory of Judith, whose spirit, strength, and devotion to family inspired a tradition that continues to bring our community together each year.

A devoted wife to the President of the Parade, a proud mother of five, and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to many, Judith’s legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the community she helped shape.

This parade stands as a celebration of her life, her love of family, and the enduring Irish spirit she passed on to all who knew her. Though she may be gone from our sight, she remains forever in our hearts and at the heart of this tradition.
May her soul be at the right hand of God.

In Loving Memory of Jonathan Nicholas Belcaster

Jonathan was part of the Northwest Side Irish Parade from its very beginning, standing proudly alongside his family and community until his passing in February 2016. His presence, dedication, and love helped shape the parade into the tradition it is today.

The cherished grandson of the President of the Parade, devoted son of the Parade Organizer, a loving brother, proud father to his son, and a beloved uncle to two nieces, Jonathan’s life was deeply rooted in family. His kindness, loyalty, and Irish pride were felt by all who marched beside him and knew him beyond the parade route.

Though his time with us was far too short, Jonathan’s spirit continues to walk these streets each St. Patrick’s Day—carried forward by the family he loved and the tradition he helped build.

Gone from our sight, but forever part of our parade and our hearts.
May his soul be at the right hand of God.
